title: "the bridge"


"i feel like i'm in a bright blue and purple bubble with nowhere to go.
nothing to do. except look to you.
my eyes are tearing up...
again...
and my ears are starting to plug.
the pressure is on.
i closed my eyes and i see him.
i yell his name.
he looks my way!
i tell him to come over!
he just stands there.
i yell his name again.
he smiles now.
i motion for him to come over,
he doesn't budge.
i yell his name one last time, this time i'm crying.
he turns his back on me.
and crosses the bridge.
now i stand alone. motionless. cold. sad. mad. alone.
i start to cross the bridge but i trip.
i start walking again.
i trip again.
i keep tripping on every crack on the bridge!
so, i give up on walking and begin to crawl...
i'm in the middle of the bridge now...
i look up and see him dancing his way down the path.
i frown.
the game is on!
i stand up again but this time i'm on my tip toes.
i'm walking over the cracks!
i'm being real careful not to touch the cracks with my big feet.
i'm still walking!!
i'm going really slow.
because i've learned that by going slow and being careful,
you won't fall and get hurt."

" don't listen to their lies,
they'll only make you cry,
don't listen to thier words of anger,
they'll only make you hurt more,
don't follow the crowd and whats "hot" (at the moment) for they'll make you go crazy,
don't listen to them when they say "your not 'good' enough"
because there is no such thing,
don't hide your pain and tears,
for they will only make you die faster,
don't hold a grudge on someone you love,
because life is only so long,
don't listen to the "lost" or the "confused"
for you too will go down that dark road,
don't think yourself any less because of the things the "popular" girls say,
becuase you will hurt yourself even more,
don't smile if your deeply hurt and don't want to show it,
for your only hurting the ones who care the most about you.
and no matter what you do, say or think....

"there is a special friend that i can't stop thinking about,
i love them with all my heart,
and to me they are much more than just an aquantence,
they are somoeone i care alot about and would do anything for!
i loved seeing their face
it brightened up my days!
their smile could lighten up the darskest of rooms,
they're very funny and very kind,
and we used to laugh at everything even if it wasn't that funny.
i hope we stay, friends forever and ever!
so this is for you,
my very special friend,
whom i love very very much!" ;)
